This necklace preserves the memory of a spiritual symbol of elevation and light: the eagle of Saint John.

In biblical symbolism, the eagle occupies a singular place. A creature of the heights, able to rise towards the sun, it is perceived as an intermediary between God and humankind. It is for this reason that it became the attribute of Saint John the Evangelist, a figure of vision, revelation and divine love.

The Psalms also make it a symbol of spiritual regeneration. Like the phoenix, the eagle renews itself: it embodies the soul called to be reborn, purified and restored to strength through light. Immersed in the spiritual fountain, the Christian soul may thus contemplate the true sun: Christ.

What once belonged to revelation, rebirth and divine love now meets the skin.
