History
This necklace, created from a Neo-Gothic cape clasp, preserves the memory of an accessory linked to authority, honour and protection.

From its origins, the cape has done more than cover the body: it designates it. Associated with monarchy, chivalry, and heroic, spiritual or mysterious figures, it signals a rank, a function, at times a transformation. A garment of ceremony as much as of guard, it envelops the wearer in a protection almost akin to a shield, while lending their presence an element of secrecy and mystery.

Transformed into a necklace, this Neo-Gothic clasp retains the essence of this symbol.
What once fastened the cape now rests upon the skin.
